Ecclesiastes 4:9-12

Two are better than one,
because they have a good return for their work:
If one falls down,
his friend can help him up.
But pity the man who falls
and has no one to help him up!
Also, if two lie down together, they will keep warm.
But how can one keep warm alone?
Though one may be overpowered,
two can defend themselves.
A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.

These few verses have been used many times by couples who have decided to get married. The bible also explicitly says that God had created woman for man because he needed a helper. Something we are all very grateful for. But that is a very narrow use of the above verses. On a broader sense, the verses are clear in stating that "Two are better than one... A cord of three strands is not quickly broken"

These verses mean so much more now to me because of the many friends that have come along side, in encouraging and spurring me on, showing me love and concern. Thanks guys for all the support. He who has friends as such as you is blessed! Andrew and Sheralyn, thanks for making me see this.
