Road trip to Malacca
It was pretty much a makan fiasco in Malacca. With Ben around to show us the town, we were in for a treat. First stop was the famous Chicken rice balls. They were yummy, not to mention the out of this world design. The chicken was the firm "kampong" chicken, meat was tender and succulent.
Second stop was for dessert. While Ben had the laksa, we had the Durian chendol. Oooo... it was heaven. With a tinge of durian taste (not overpowering) and a delectable taste of the sweet sweet "gula melaka". One word - Heaven.
Here is Benji digging into the chendol. Most of us had the durian flavoured one. Only Christine had the mango one. She does not like durian...so sad..haha.
Not to forget the crispy "Goreng Goreng" with its tangy, sweet and spicy sauce. Basically fired from the "yong tau hoo". Too bad we were already quite full.
Another worth mentioning makan place was the Bambo restaurent in JB. Did a pit-stop there on our way back from your week-end getaway. The paper-wrapped chicken is a defintite must - cannot miss. You should have seen how clean the remaining bones were... All in all, it was a fabulous trip of eating of relaxing and just chilling out with dear dear friends. Makantime should have been there, he would have loved it. We'll do it sometime again okay? (HAHA). Once again, we cannot thank Tingni who made all of this possible

Really nice post. :) At least i'm thought of hehe. I'm inspired... The thing about trips is that no two trips will be the same... somehow. Well, here's to more makan trips! Nice to see all these makan pics... :)

I could not believe Eunice when she told S and I about this pic. We were surprised they renovated it till it looked kinda high class. Shows how long since we guys have been to JB to eat. Maybe next time. Of course some time after the delivery.
